How Miro Emptied Bigman’s Email Inbox

Bigman, a Brighton-based animation studio, was hampered by a slow, email-centric review process—screen grabs, Photoshop edits and Dropbox attachments left inboxes bloated and files hard to find. To solve this they adopted Miro’s online whiteboard for visual collaboration, moving storyboarding and daily work onto interactive boards instead of email threads.

Using Miro, Bigman set up separate client and team boards, built internal guidelines, and relied on the Comment tool and @mentions to consolidate feedback; this streamlined reviews, cut image-discussion time from five minutes to five seconds (≈60× faster), reduced email volume, accelerated project pace, and freed managers to focus on higher-value creative work.
