A Miro Case Study
LookFar Labs, a 15-person New Orleans–based software development firm, faced challenges keeping remote clients aligned on product strategy and requirements: clients didn’t always understand the product development process, and large text documents often “got lost in translation.” To improve client-facing collaboration and justify the upfront Strategize Phase, LookFar Labs adopted Miro’s collaborative whiteboards (Miro boards) to visualize workflows, personas, user flows and prototypes.
Using Miro boards for product planning, competitor analysis, wireframes and mockups — with Jira integration as a bridge to engineering — LookFar Labs created a single source of truth that streamlined communication across product, engineering, QA, sales and clients. Miro cut the time to write story acceptance criteria and clarifications by about 25%, reduced developer time to digest stories by ~20%, and yields an estimated annual per–product-manager savings of roughly $18,750–$20,000, while enabling a repeatable, more sellable Strategize Phase.
