How CozyJuicyReal brought their board game to life in Miro

CozyJuicyReal, a husband-and-wife team of board game designers, faced the challenge of adapting their in-person conversation-starting game for virtual play when the COVID-19 pandemic halted travel and group gatherings. They needed a digital solution to host their game online so players could continue to connect deeply from home. They turned to the vendor Miro to find an online collaborative whiteboard.

Using Miro's infinite canvas, they recreated their game board and hosted virtual events. Key features like "Bring Everyone To Me" and the ability to attach PDFs to simulate flipping cards were crucial for facilitating smooth gameplay. The Miro platform enabled them to continue playtesting and iterating on their design quickly. This solution allowed them to maintain their mission of fostering meaningful conversations, successfully hosting events for workplace teams and friends remotely.
