How Biteable CEO Brent Chudoba Held a Remote Leadership Offsite Using Miro

Biteable, a globally distributed video creation company, needed to adapt its leadership offsite when COVID-19 forced its planned in-person meeting in Australia to go fully remote. The team had to align on mission, vision, values, long-term customer and product strategy, and culture across time zones, while also bringing in stakeholders who couldn’t attend the original offsite.

Using Miro as an online whiteboard and collaboration hub, Biteable broke the offsite into shorter virtual sessions and did more prep work asynchronously with boards, templates, sticky notes, and feedback loops. Miro helped the leadership team build a lean business canvas, map customer journeys, and finalize mission, vision, and values, resulting in clearer organizational alignment and a more productive remote offsite that Brent Chudoba said was productive enough to become a quarterly ritual.
