The strategic design collective ThinkStartup faced the common challenge of engaging stakeholders and securing buy-in for innovation and change. Traditional 2D journey maps were dense and difficult for stakeholders to absorb, often halting progress. To overcome this, ThinkStartup's founder, Matt Anderson, created and implemented a 3D Innovation and Change Journey Map Template on the Miro platform.
The solution, a dynamic and interactive 3D journey map built in Miro, made the customer story more engaging and fun, which dramatically increased stakeholder energy and participation. This visual approach fostered greater empathy, unlocked more creative ideas, and successfully aligned stakeholders on necessary changes. By leveraging Miro and AI tools like Midjourney, ThinkStartup reduced the time to build these maps from eight weeks to just five days, allowing them to offer this innovative service to more clients.
