Technology Company was facing recurring downtime in multiple network closets because legacy UPS systems were failing, and none of the rackmount UPS units across its 20+ IT closets were connected for remote monitoring or alerts. The company also had airflow issues caused by power-cord slack blocking rear equipment vents. Mirapath was brought in to assess the environment and plan a modernization of the closets with updated power infrastructure.

Mirapath completed a phased retrofit of the network closets with more efficient rackmount UPS systems and new redundant vertical PDUs, including a move from 120V to 208V power for better efficiency and improved airflow management. Mirapath also configured the UPS units for network connectivity and centralized monitoring, enabling IT alerts for outages. The project was completed over two years between budget approvals, with old equipment recycled as part of the customer’s green initiative.
