Netskope, a secure access service edge (SASE) provider, needed to affordably deliver location-agnostic security and zero trust access control for its global platform. Their challenge was to find a cost-efficient and flexible IaaS solution to rapidly deploy and lifecycle-manage their NewEdge infrastructure to meet aggressive velocity targets. They partnered with vendor Mirantis to implement an OpenStack private cloud solution.

Mirantis provided OpenStack to automate the deployment and management of Netskope's IaaS host clusters. This collaboration resulted in a massive reduction in the time required to provision new points of presence, from months down to just five days—a 3600% improvement. The solution from Mirantis also simplified lifecycle management and allowed Netskope to deliver features to customers faster while scaling its global NewEdge network.
