Conoa expands container expertise with Mirantis across 4 platform implementations

Conoa, a Swedish IT company and expert in modern infrastructure solutions, faced the challenge of helping a major Scandinavian financial institution integrate Docker container technology on the Windows platform. The customer was struggling with system instability and compatibility issues, as the Windows OS was not designed to support containers, leading to resource-draining debugging and slow runtime environments that threatened regular operations. They turned to their partner, Mirantis, for a solution.

Mirantis, in close partnership with Conoa, worked directly with the Windows platform architects to develop a stable solution. This collaboration led to the creation of Docker Datacenter within seven months, followed by Docker Enterprise, resulting in four distinct implementations for both Windows and Linux. The solution resolved the compatibility problems, stabilized performance, and provided the foundation for the customer's ongoing container use. Mirantis and Conoa continue to assist the customer with further implementations as the technology evolves.
