Case Study: Conoa achieves successful container adoption with Mirantis

Adapting to the IT Infrastructure of the Future

Conoa, one of Mirantis’ customers and partners, faced a major challenge helping a large Scandinavian financial institution adopt containers on Windows, where the platform was still in beta and Windows Server 2016 was not designed to support them. The customer needed a stable way to integrate container applications, but compatibility and runtime issues were slowing operations and making change management difficult.

Mirantis and Conoa addressed this through hands-on guidance, in-depth workshops, and tailored onboarding around Docker and container platforms. Their collaboration helped lay the groundwork for Docker Datacenter and later Docker Enterprise, and the original Windows compatibility problems were eventually resolved as container support matured in Windows Server 2019. The effort also drove strong engagement, with one early customer session drawing about 25 attendees and a seminar in Iceland attracting more than 350.
