Auchan Retail, one of France’s largest retail chains, wanted to expand its online assortment and strengthen omnichannel shopping while shifting to a more profitable commission-based model. As it replatformed its eCommerce site, Auchan needed a way to manage a new marketplace catalog and integrate a diverse set of third-party sellers, all while maintaining a seamless customer experience across online and in-store channels.

Mirakl provided the marketplace platform and Catalog Integration to simplify seller onboarding, catalog management, and integration with Auchan’s SAP Hybris environment. The rollout was completed in under eight months and delivered a fivefold increase in SKUs, more than 100 vendors, and 100,000 new products; it also drove a 10% increase in store traffic from click & collect and helped generate billions in turnover while improving profitability and customer loyalty.
