A MIP Fund Accounting Case Study
The University System of Georgia Foundation, the philanthropic arm supporting scholarships and capital projects for Georgia’s 26 public higher education institutions, had outgrown QuickBooks and needed a more flexible, robust fund accounting system. MIP Fund Accounting was recommended and demonstrated by Christina Paloski to provide the scalable, nonprofit-focused solution the Foundation required.
MIP Fund Accounting delivered a cloud-based, configurable fund accounting system that tracks individual funds, simplifies reporting and budgeting, and eliminated manual data manipulation—enabling the Foundation to generate board-ready financials and plan for long-term growth. The move to MIP Fund Accounting helped the Foundation scale its financial management (MIP reports a 95% retention rate and a 93% CSAT) and supported awarding more than $1 million in scholarships over the past three years to benefit over 330,000 students.
