How the Area Agency on Aging of Southwest Arkansas Grew With MIP

The Area Agency on Aging of Southwest Arkansas (AAASWA) faced a critical finance challenge when CFO Cindy Lewis discovered an under-equipped fund accounting system—staff were even typing checks on a typewriter—and auditors raised red flags. Needing secure, grant-level tracking and reliable reporting for federal and state compliance, AAASWA chose MIP Fund Accounting (recommended by peers and auditors) to replace their legacy system.
