Carolina Family Health Center, a community health provider in eastern North Carolina serving thousands across four clinics, faced the dual challenge of managing revenue and reporting requirements from a dozen distinct public and private grants while administering HR for nearly 200 staff. To address this complexity, the organization has used MIP Fund Accounting (including HR Suite modules) since 2010 to handle multi-grant tracking and payroll/HR needs.

MIP Fund Accounting implemented fund-segmentation, MIP Cloud, and HR modules (Employee Web Services and Payroll) to automate time entry, payroll transfers, and HR workflows; MIP Fund Accounting’s EWS alone saves the payroll team about a day and a half each pay period. The solution enabled role-based access and customizable reports for diverse stakeholders, streamlined scheduling and benefits tracking, and simplified allocating, tracking, and reporting across programs and fiscal years.
