Carolina Family Health Center saves Payroll a day and a half each pay period with MIP Fund Accounting

Carolina Family Health Center, a public health organization in North Carolina, was faced with the challenge of managing the complexities of multiple grants and complying with the varied reporting requirements of different grantors. After initially adopting MIP Fund Accounting in 2010, they sought a more integrated solution to handle their finances and human resources for their four locations and nearly 200 employees, leading them to again partner with the vendor MIP.

MIP implemented their HR Management, Payroll, and Employee Web Services (EWS) modules to create a streamlined solution. A key result was the significant time savings from the EWS module, which automated time logging and approval, eliminating manual entry. According to their Director of Finance, this automation saves the payroll team a day and a half of work every pay period. The system also efficiently handles mileage reimbursements, integrating them directly with payroll. Carolina Family Health Center continues to use MIP to effectively manage its funds and tell its financial story.
