The City of Peterborough faced growing congestion, rising emissions, and increasing delays on its busiest corridor, Lansdowne Street. Miovision's solution deployed adaptive control across a 1.75 km corridor, using real-time data to dynamically adjust signal timings. This approach delivered substantial results, including a 41.3% reduction in vehicle delay during peak periods, a 20% reduction in vehicle emissions, and annual user cost savings of $977,000. The successful pilot justified further investment in adaptive signal control for the city.
