Intersport Relies on Minubo and Sets New Standards for the Industry

INTERSPORT, one of Germany’s leading sports retail trade associations with more than 900 dealers, faced growing pressure from digitization, changing market conditions, and the need to better connect its headquarters, digital marketplace, and independent retailers. To tackle this, INTERSPORT partnered with minubo and its Commerce Intelligence Suite to make data more usable across the network and improve decision-making at both the head office and point of sale.

With minubo, INTERSPORT Digital GmbH built a data-driven control setup for its cooperative marketplace, while INTERSPORT Deutschland eG launched the INTERSPORT Store Monitor for retailers. The solution provides transparent reporting, benchmarking, barcode-based product insights, and mobile access to sales data via tablets or smartphones, enabling faster action on orders, returns, promotions, and in-store placement. As a result, INTERSPORT created a more efficient, data-driven work culture and gave retailers and employees practical tools to improve performance at the POS, though the case study does not cite specific numeric uplift figures.
