How Swedbank improved customer experience by implementing subscription management into their mobile bank

Swedbank, Sweden’s largest retail bank, wanted to create more value for customers as regulation and digitalization reshaped the market. To strengthen engagement and loyalty, Swedbank partnered with Minna Technologies to explore a digital service that would help customers better manage their day-to-day finances, especially growing subscription-related expenses.

Minna Technologies built and launched “The Subscription Helper” inside Swedbank’s mobile banking app, giving customers a quick overview of subscriptions and tools to cancel unwanted services or improve deals. In the first 18 months, the service generated 648,007 unique sessions, was used by 15% of mobile banking customers, and led to 42.2K money-saving actions, helping customers save €5 million overall, with an average customer rating of 4.8/5.
