SpareBank 1, Norway’s second-largest financial institution made up of 14 independent banks, wanted to improve its digital banking experience by helping customers better manage unwanted subscriptions. After reviewing user insights and recognizing that subscription management was a highly requested feature, SpareBank 1 partnered with Minna Technologies to add an easy cancellation option directly from the transaction overview.

Minna Technologies implemented its Cancel service in a Minna-themed web UI, enabling SpareBank 1 to launch quickly with minimal data sharing and no explicit consent form. In less than 3 months, the service went live and delivered strong results: 106K+ active users in 7 months, 25K+ cancellations sent, 10% user adoption, 24% conversion to cancellations, a 4.5/5 customer rating, and €3.1M in customer savings.
