TRR Group, one of Thailand’s leading sugar manufacturers, wanted to make its employee performance reviews fairer and more consistent across departments. Using Minitab Statistical Software, the HR team examined evaluation scores from its three sugar factories to identify inconsistent standards, possible bias, and outlier ratings that could affect compensation and employee development.

Minitab helped TRR Group analyze the review data with histograms, boxplots, probability plots, and hypothesis tests, giving the company clear evidence that its appraisal form needed improvement. As a result, TRR Group redesigned its evaluation process with standardized criteria, established fair compensation guidelines, and improved planning for employee development; the company also plans to extend the approach across its subsidiaries.
