A MinIO Case Study
AMD, a global leader in computing and semiconductor technologies, faced a significant challenge with its internal engineering systems. Data was siloed across deeply interconnected platforms like ServiceNow, Jira, and GitHub, which obscured the connections across the engineering lifecycle and hindered the company's agility. This fragmentation made root-cause analysis and tracing cascading failures extremely difficult, slowing response times and increasing operational risk.
To solve this, AMD implemented a modern data lakehouse built on MinIO AIStor, utilizing a GraphRAG engine. This MinIO solution connected tickets, code, logs, and telemetry into a graph-aware data intelligence layer without requiring ETL pipelines or data duplication. The results were substantial, including a more than 90% reduction in query latency and a 95% reduction in debug cycles, enabling both human teams and AI agents to reason across systems for dramatically faster issue resolution.
