Worldwide Shipping Company Guards Thousands Of Endpoints Against Ransomware

Leading Worldwide Shipping Company, a $2–3 billion global shipper with about 4,000 employees and roughly 100 offices, was experiencing an average of two ransomware events per week and found signature-based AV was only stopping about half of attacks. To strengthen its defenses without degrading endpoint performance, the company's CISO selected Minerva Labs and its Anti-Evasion Platform as a complement to existing security controls.

Minerva Labs deployed its Anti-Evasion Platform across ~4,000 endpoints in 100 offices, using a lightweight agent that simulates a hostile environment to keep malware dormant. The solution blocked more than 95% of attempted attacks, stopped ransomware incidents entirely, and prevented at least six high‑risk Trojans/ransomware (including Locky, Bandarchor, Dropper), 585 BEDEP fileless attacks, 3,800 exploit‑kit attacks and tens of thousands of PUPs—while requiring minimal memory/CPU (<10% of typical AV), rapid rollout (under a week) and greatly reduced SOC investigation and remediation workload.
