Ladera Winery Investment Pays for Itself in 60 Day

Ladera Winery, a family-owned Napa Valley producer founded in 1886, struggled with a manual, paper-heavy accounts payable workflow: invoices were physically approved at the winery, overnighted to a business office for stamping, coding, scanning and manual data entry into Intacct, then checks were printed, signed and mailed. The labor-intensive process consumed roughly 15 hours per week, incurred transfer costs, and created inefficiencies across multiple entities.

After evaluating options, Ladera implemented MineralTree Invoice-to-Pay integrated with Intacct, which eliminated manual data entry, centralized approvals with remote access, and allowed checks to be issued from their own bank. The change cut weekly AP time from about 15 hours to 3 hours (≈70% reduction), enabled one AP clerk to support multiple entities, and paid for itself within 60 days.
