Affinity Dental Management is a dentist-run DSO serving practices across the northeastern U.S. Rapid growth to 32 offices and a rising invoice load (from about 500 to 1,000 invoices a month) strained its centralized AP function. The team relied on paper, scanned PDFs and manual data entry into QuickBooks, creating slow processing, limited visibility for approvers, and a heavy daily workload for the controller and AP specialist.

Affinity Dental implemented MineralTree—a cloud solution with two-way QuickBooks sync, OCR plus human invoice review, workflow approvals, and SilverPay virtual cards. Implementation was fast; daily AP work dropped to roughly 10 minutes scanning plus about an hour processing, approvals moved online, and the controller can focus on cash-flow analysis. Using SilverPay for ~30% of spend generates rebates that more than offset the solution’s cost, delivering streamlined AP, better visibility, and new revenue.
