Expedia partnered with Mindspace to boost awareness of the Expedia Rewards program and encourage more customers to opt in. The challenge was to create an interactive experience that would not only grow loyalty, but also support Expedia’s broader goal of increasing trip bookings and higher spend per trip.

Mindspace created a gamified virtual journey around the world, where users sent a personalized avatar traveling for 100 days to discover new places and experiences. The campaign helped drive awareness and engagement for Expedia Rewards and was designed to increase bookings and trip value, though the case study does not provide specific numeric results.
