A MindSea Case Study
The East Coast Music Association (ECMA) needed a mobile strategy to promote Eastlink East Coast Music Week 2013 and to foster year‑round discovery of East Coast artists. They engaged MindSea to design native iPhone and Android apps that would let fans create their own schedules, share events via Facebook and Twitter, preview and purchase songs and videos, and ultimately increase event attendance, participation, and community engagement.
MindSea delivered the app through an iterative weekly design and development process, implementing the full festival schedule with direct ticket and pass purchase links, in‑app music previews and purchases, social sharing, add‑to‑calendar scheduling, mapping and news feeds. The MindSea solution enabled direct ticketing and in‑app sales while simplifying event discovery and social promotion, giving ECMA a year‑round digital platform to promote artists and drive engagement.
