Rocky View Schools Use MindMeister And G Suite for Education to Enable Easy Collaboration for Over 20,000 Users

Rocky View Schools, a 42-school district in Alberta serving about 18,000 students and 2,000 staff, needed a cloud-based visual learning tool that worked across iPads, Chromebooks, tablets and laptops. To replace their old solution and provide seamless access within their existing G Suite for Education environment, they adopted MindMeister, adding it to the district G Suite domain in 2013 so users could access the tool from any device.

MindMeister delivered an easy-to-use, web-based mind-mapping platform integrated with G Suite, which teachers and students quickly adopted during a three-month pilot. The district extended the subscription to three years after seeing higher student engagement, widespread independent use across grades K–12, cross-school collaboration (including multi-board projects), and district-wide rollout to more than 20,000 users.
