Event Design Collective is a global network that trains event designers and runs collaborative design projects, and faced the challenge of coordinating international, distributed teams and clients while scaling training and project work. To solve this they adopted MindMeister (alongside G Suite and MeisterTask) to move from paper-based workshops to cloud-based, collaborative planning and design.

Using MindMeister to map project scope, experience journeys and research, the team creates shared mind maps they can embed with links and images, convert into tasks via the MindMeister–MeisterTask integration, and coordinate work across time zones with G Suite. The result: a scalable, cloud-first workflow that supports over 5,000 users, has helped train 1,000 professionals, supported growth from a bootstrapped startup to a nine-person international team, and delivers clearer scoping and faster collaborative planning — all without a dedicated IT resource.
