Case Study: Kaspersky Lab achieves streamlined IT project planning and improved cross-team coordination with MindManager

A MindManager Case Study

Preview of the Kaspersky Lab Case Study

Kaspersky Lab relies on MindManager for complex IT projects

Kaspersky Lab, a global cybersecurity company operating in 200 countries, needed a way for its IT department to plan long-term roadmaps while flexibly reacting to market and internal changes. SharePoint alone made it hard to see dependencies or break complex, parallel projects into assignable task packages, so the team turned to MindManager (visualization software) to provide a hierarchical, tree-structured planning platform that could integrate with their existing SharePoint environment.

MindManager was rolled out to roughly 40 IT users to brainstorm, map high-level objectives, decompose projects into manageable tasks and generate individual SharePoint tasks through integrated links. With MindManager, Kaspersky Lab achieved smoother inter-unit coordination, automated task assignment, easier document transfer, clearer visibility of dependencies and faster project planning and implementation, improving cross-department communication and execution.
