Messfeld GmbH, an Austrian maintenance solutions provider, needed a reliable way to analyze the complex structure, dependencies, and condition of machines and industrial plants. The company used Mindjet’s MindManager to bring engineering expertise and maintenance data into a clearer, more manageable process.

With Mindjet’s MindManager, Messfeld created map-based “organizational charts” of machines to document components, assess risks, and derive monitoring and maintenance actions, including FMEA and a custom risk matrix. The result was greater transparency and clarity, faster analysis of subareas, and better-informed maintenance decisions; Messfeld also reported that many customers now use these maps to define maintenance measures.
