A Mindjet Case Study
DOW, through its Six Sigma Expertise Center, needed a single, easy-to-adopt platform to improve curriculum, brainstorming, project planning, and meeting management across globally distributed teams. Before Mindjet, employees relied on inconsistent tools like Visio and PowerPoint, creating extra work and making it harder to collaborate across departments such as engineering, finance, sales, marketing, and R&D.
Mindjet was implemented as the common platform within Dow’s Six Sigma curriculum, supporting real-time idea sharing, dialogue mapping, and more effective collaboration across 35 countries. The result was clearer communication, better project organization, and more efficient global meetings, with Dow growing from 511 Mindjet licenses in 2002 to 3,000 active users by 2012.
