ABB, a global engineering leader in power and automation technologies, needed a better way to identify the root causes of production losses at its New Zealand site. Using Mindjet, ABB created a visual framework for tracking KPIs and prioritizing the biggest opportunities for improvement. The results were strong: Overall Equipment Effectiveness rose 22.4%, maintenance costs per unit fell 35%, and employee satisfaction increased 12 points to 78%. ABB also rolled out the Mindjet-based Loss Map globally, improving understanding of plant issues and helping sites achieve faster gains.
