Vehicles for Change - Customer Case Study

Vehicles for Change, a nonprofit focused on providing cars to families in need, needed an innovative fundraising and branding solution. They turned to Mindgrub to create a mobile game that would both raise money and generate national exposure.

Mindgrub developed "Johnny Speed," an iPhone and Android endless-runner style game using mobile game design best practices (Corona SDK, push notifications, in‑app purchases), monetizing through vehicle upgrades, sponsor ad space and a car-giveaway incentive. The Mindgrub-built app created new revenue streams and increased national brand exposure for Vehicles for Change by converting players into donors and partners through in‑app purchases and advertising.
