A MindGenius Case Study
Baker Hughes, a global oilfield services company operating in more than 90 countries, needed a better way to communicate, collaborate, and complete projects across geographical and time-zone boundaries. The company also faced the challenge of running effective meetings and sharing knowledge quickly, especially in fast-paced environments where teams needed to capture ideas and results in real time. MindGenius, used alongside web collaboration tools such as Webex or Netviewer, helped support this need.
Using MindGenius 3 and MindGenius Version 3.5, Baker Hughes teams were able to capture, structure, and transfer meeting information visually, then export it to formats such as MS Project, Word, Excel, JPEG, or PNG. The integrated GANTT view allowed stakeholders without MS Project to manage key project tasks directly from the meeting map. As a result, Baker Hughes improved productivity, enhanced virtual and face-to-face collaboration, met tight deadlines more effectively, and reduced travel costs.
