Barclaycard US faced the challenge of converting nearly 500,000 credit card customers to a new program while also changing the acceptance brand from Visa to MasterCard, all under a hard deadline and with a risk of cardholder attrition. To support this large-scale transition, Barclaycard worked with MindFire and Associates International to create a highly personalized, cross-media marketing campaign for the US Airways MasterCard conversion.

MindFire provided the web-based marketing automation and tracking platform that powered personalized URLs, response tracking, and the interactive micro-site, while the broader campaign also used direct mail, email, and variable personalization. The effort drove strong engagement, with micro-site response rates topping 13% and 31% of visitors sharing their email address, helping Barclaycard convert nearly all high-value customers and a significant portion of the overall portfolio.
