Perfume’s Club guarantees the lowest price without any discounts on Black Friday

Perfume’s Club, a major online retailer of perfumery and cosmetics, faced the challenge of guaranteeing the lowest prices for its 30,000-SKU catalogue across six European countries during high-demand sales events, all without running its own promotions. They needed to track constant price fluctuations and identify matching products from 40 competitors to remain the most cost-effective option. To address this, they partnered with vendor Minderest for its price monitoring and competitive intelligence services.

Minderest implemented a solution that integrated and matched Perfume’s Club’s entire catalogue with over 118,600 competitor products, providing continuous price and promotion updates several times a day. This data was delivered through a bespoke API and weekly reports tailored to the client's workflow. The results were significant: during Black Friday 2020, Perfume’s Club saw a 34% increase in turnover and a 39% increase in orders compared to the previous year. Furthermore, Minderest’s technology contributed to the company's overall annual turnover growth of 30% for 2020.
