LaVida Massage, a Michigan-based massage franchise founded in 2007 with 54 locations, supports franchisees from first-timers to experienced operators. Seeking better reporting, the brand moved from Mindbody to Zenoti in 2015, but Zenoti overwhelmed franchisees with excessive, confusing data and created service issues during a critical holiday period—compounded by hard-to-reach, time-zone–mismatched support—so corporate halted further rollouts.
LaVida returned to Mindbody and established a stronger partnership: dedicated account contacts, collaborative product input, and a more user-friendly system that surfaces only the key metrics franchisees need. The change reduced confusion, improved support responsiveness, and gave LaVida the scalable software and operational empowerment its franchisees require.
