Umbrella Salon, founded by brothers Khiem and Kien with partner Michelle in San Jose, faced slow, phone-based scheduling that left staff transcribing dozens of voicemails and limited visibility into bookings. They needed online booking, website integration, and mobile access so their team could manage appointments and client information more efficiently.

Implementing MINDBODY with HealCode and the MINDBODY Express app gave clients real-time online booking and put schedules and client histories on iPads and phones. The change cut voicemails by about 50%, drove up to seven new registrations per day, improved scheduling and forecasting, and better equipped their 17 stylists to serve clients.
