Heartcore is a London-based fitness and wellness brand founded in 2007 with 10 studios known for creating inspiring, community-focused workout experiences. When COVID-19 forced all locations to close in March 2020, Heartcore needed to pivot quickly to digital offerings to keep clients engaged and the business afloat.
They launched Instagram Live classes (gaining 16,000 followers in a week), offered free classes for the NHS, and used the Mindbody branded app to let clients book virtual classes with the same familiar workflow. As studios reopened in July, Heartcore adopted a hybrid model—about 2,500 clients continue to stream, seven locations are open with strong occupancy—and is rolling out Video on Demand via the app to expand accessibility and create a new revenue stream.
