CrossFit Inferno - Customer Case Study

CrossFit INFERNO, founded by fitness-minded firefighters in San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles, rapidly grew from a small studio to a 9,000 sq ft box. As membership expanded, owners Bill Grundler, Josh Lorenzo and Danica Boyle struggled with manual notebooks, unpredictable class capacity and chasing late payments.

They implemented MINDBODY box management software for scheduling, client notes, automated re‑engagement emails and AutoPay. Over the 2013–2014 year they saw a 27% increase in revenue, a 24% increase in recurring revenue (AutoPay representing 70.78% of 2014 revenue) and 63% member retention, while gaining tools to personalize coaching and recover inactive clients.
