Chi & Co. is a rural Glasgow yoga studio owned by Julie Hanson that was launched to escape high rent and parking problems in the city center. From the start she struggled with poor customer communication, no active database and a cash-only payment system that made tracking and analysis difficult.
By adopting MINDBODY (with Constant Contact) Julie segmented her marketing, introduced a time-limited discounted conversion price for new members with follow-up calls, and implemented Direct Debit and online booking. Those changes tripled workshop revenue (302% increase), grew online sales to 27% of total revenue (a >1,000% jump), increased recurring payments to nearly 35% of revenue, and lifted customer retention to 73%.
