Allegiate Gym, a boutique strength-and-team-focused gym in Redondo Beach founded in 2017 by three former USC football teammates and a strength coach, set out to recreate the camaraderie and high-energy training of college athletics. As first-time business owners they faced the twin challenges of building the right culture and consistently attracting and retaining members who would train hard together.

They chose MINDBODY to run class bookings, payments and day-to-day operations, and also relied on MINDBODY’s education and events (like BOLD) to grow their skills and staff. With MINDBODY as a central platform, Allegiate has continued to acquire members, win recognition such as a Visionary Award, and validate their niche model—remaining strong and growing more than two years after opening.
