Slice Wireless Solutions was tasked with providing reliable, high-speed wireless internet coverage for a 15,000-user outdoor commencement event at Howard University, which was attended by President Obama. The challenge required a low-latency, high-capacity backhaul solution that could not rely on traditional cabling. Slice selected Mimosa Networks' B5 and B5Lite backhaul radios for this critical deployment.

Mimosa provided a wireless backhaul solution using its radios operating in the 5 GHz spectrum. The installation, planned with the Mimosa Cloud+ tool, was rapid and simple. The network achieved 100% uptime, supporting downlink speeds up to 170 Mbps and uplink speeds over 100 Mbps even during peak traffic, ensuring the event's success.
