Sail Internet Changes the Game with Mimosa

Sail Internet wanted to launch an affordable, reliable high-speed internet service in Warm Springs, Fremont, to give residents an alternative to costly cable and phone bundles. To deliver fiber-like speeds in a dense suburban area, Sail Internet turned to Mimosa Networks and deployed Mimosa C5 clients and A5 access points, with 60–70 GHz backhaul radios.

Using Mimosa Networks’ A5 and C5 products, Sail Internet was able to support download speeds of 100 to 200 Mbps and simplify installation with cloud-based provisioning and planning tools. The result was a high-speed network that helped Sail Internet serve cord-cutting customers more effectively and move toward expanding its service across the Bay Area.
