Network Orbiter, a leading system integration company, faced the challenge of establishing a reliable wireless link over an extreme distance of 158.4 km for a customer in India, across difficult terrain and harsh weather. They turned to vendor Mimosa Networks and its B5x backhaul radio to provide a high-capacity solution where fiber was not an option.

Mimosa implemented its B5x radio paired with a 32 dBi ALGcom antenna. This solution successfully bridged the 158.4 km gap, achieving an impressive aggregate IP throughput of 489 Mbps with a strong signal strength of -65.7 dBm, providing the remote customer with high-capacity, low-latency connectivity.
