Amtech Communications, a provider of large-scale residential antenna systems and internet services for multi-dwelling units across nine states, needed a cost-effective way to increase bandwidth for apartment residents without charging extra. The company wanted to upgrade aging wireless links to better meet growing demand for high-speed internet, and turned to Mimosa Networks for help.

Mimosa Networks implemented B5 and B5c backhaul radios, managed through the Mimosa Cloud GUI, to replace Amtech’s legacy links. The new solution boosted speeds from 30 Mbps to 200 Mbps, simplified deployment to about an hour per site, and reduced manual maintenance thanks to automatic channel selection and self-monitoring features.
