Mimosa Backhaul Delivers at Duncan Regional Hospital

Duncan Regional Hospital, a 136-bed not-for-profit healthcare facility in Oklahoma, needed a reliable and economical way to connect new buildings and extend high-speed wireless links across its campus and a nearby tower site. The hospital wanted to use existing network infrastructure with minimal disruption, while ensuring the solution could be installed quickly, perform reliably, and support future growth. Mimosa Networks was selected to provide the backhaul solution, using Mimosa B5 and B5-lite radios.

Mimosa Networks implemented a backhaul network with two links of each radio on 5 GHz UNI bands, managed through Mimosa Cloud+. The deployment took about three weeks and improved network control, visibility, and traffic management while proving easier and faster to install than previous wireless options. Duncan Regional Hospital reported strong reliability and price-to-performance, substantial time savings in connecting new buildings, and a solid foundation for upcoming network expansion.
