Cross-Company Synchronization Made Simple by Mimosa Site Survey

Snappy Internet & Telecom, a Miami-based provider of high-bandwidth internet and wireless services, needed faster backhaul in a heavily congested downtown network. Its existing radio links on 20 MHz spectrum were only delivering about 10–40 Mbps each, and crowded tower co-locations created additional synchronization and interference challenges. Snappy turned to Mimosa Networks, using Mimosa backhaul products and the Mimosa Site Survey tool.

Mimosa Networks helped Snappy replace several radio links with two B5s and a B5c on a single tower, optimizing synchronization across collocated devices. The new setup delivered significantly higher throughput, with aggregate PHY rates of 250–780 Mbps and improved spectral efficiency, giving Snappy room to grow until 10 GHz spectrum becomes available. Snappy also credited Mimosa Networks’ support team for helping fine-tune the link and improve performance.
