Broadwave Deploys Mimosa Fixed Wireless from the Florida Keys to the Space Coast

Broadwave, a South Florida communications company, needed to expand its own wireless network and overcome coverage limits that had prevented service in some areas. With Mimosa Networks technology, Broadwave aimed to deliver fiber-fast internet and stronger disaster-recovery connectivity across a region stretching from the Florida Keys to the Space Coast.

Mimosa Networks helped Broadwave extend service into previously hard-to-reach locations and improve fiber-to-the-premises performance with faster, more reliable links. In one example, a customer connected over 13 miles using a C5c and KP antenna to an A5c access point saw speeds jump from 2 Mbps DSL to over 200 Mbps, while Broadwave also strengthened reliability for critical communications during severe weather.
