Hyatt Hotel Corporation, one of the world’s premier hotel companies with more than 550 hotels and resorts worldwide, needed a better way to handle documents and consumables for its properties. Its Learning & Development and Marketing teams were using a time-consuming, error-prone, and costly process that also led to obsolete warehoused materials. Mimeo.com and its Marketplace product were used to address these challenges.
Mimeo.com implemented a branded online storefront for Hyatt, allowing hotel owners and managers to customize and order materials as needed, with automated tracking built into the process. The result was a major efficiency gain: order fulfillment dropped from 3 weeks to 48 hours, warehousing was eliminated, and one Marketplace Administrator could now manage storefronts for four departments.
