NOVA Entertainment, which runs major Australian radio networks and supports 700 employees across 16 email domains receiving up to 3 million messages per month, faced increasing phishing, malware and business email compromise (BEC) attacks after moving to Microsoft Office 365. Manual blocking wasn’t stopping high-profile BEC attempts—particularly targeting finance—so email security became a critical business risk.

NOVA implemented Mimecast Email Security with targeted threat protection in a staged rollout (profiling outbound traffic first, then enabling inbound filtering domain by domain), which immediately blocked BEC and reduced malware.
